VCSEL IR Laser Diode

A customizable piece for 3KM's fixed-focus infrared (IR) laser series. Features VCSEL chips with a rated power of 1W, an 850nm wavelength, and a 30° beam divergence angle, providing an even, outstanding light spot. Classified as IIIB laser under FDA & IEC regulations, it has service life up to 50,000 hours. The standard series includes options of 3°/8°/15°/30°/65°, and can be customized to suit specific demands.

VCSEL IR laser diode consists a VCSEL laser chip and a filter, both can be installed individually or in combination. Weighing only 4 grams, they are smaller than traditional LED infrared lights and are fully compatible with existing LED IR light structures, without structural or software modifications. These laser source can directly replace LED IR lights, offering an effective range of 100-500 meters. They are ideal for use in TOF applications, high-end dome cameras, bullet cameras, drones, and other night vision monitoring and illumination systems.

• This IR laser illuminator is classified as a Class I non-visible light laser. While the laser is on, staring back at or observing the laser with an optical instrument is strictly prohibited.
• While the IR laser illuminator is on, flammable objects are strictly prohibited within 20cm in front of the lens to prevent fires.
• The IR laser illuminator should be installed where people cannot see it directly, or at a safe distance where people can see it directly. Manufacturers should choose the laser radiation power according to its actual application environment to avoid hurting people's eyes.
• Manufacturers using this IR laser illuminator should put warning labels for laser radiation.
• Please contact our qualified maintenance personnel for service when a device fault occurs. The warranty will expire if the device is disassembled by anyone else.
